Anna Camp was blessed to have a great family. Her father Thomas Sewell Camp is a family man, who never gets tired to tell through Instagram, how lucky he is to be surrounded with three beautiful women – his wife Dee and their two daughters.
He wedded Dee Kornegay on June 9, 1973, and now he names this day “the happiest one in my life”. He kept his love to his wife for many years, and obviously, he was a doting father for his daughters.
Tom used to work as a bank executive and financial adviser. He supported his daughter Anna in her idea to become an actress, and now he is so proud of her achievements.

Anna really loves her mother. Dee is a role model for her, and she is inspired by the happy family her parents managed to create for her. Dee spent the major part of her life, caring about her husband and daughters. She worked as a Democratic Party volunteer.
It was Dee, who helped Anna get her first role. The girl was really interested in acting, but she didn’t believe, she had any chance in it.
When Dee heard about an audition to “Drug Abuse Resistance Education”, she convinced Anna to go there. By the way, Mama Camp helped her daughter to find the appropriate clothes for the audition – torn jeans. And it worked – Anna made her first step on the way to the big screen acting.

The acting bug bit another girl in the Camp family, too. Anna’s older sister Saluda also has some screen works she is proud of. Saluda appeared in the documentary series “American Experience”.
Currently, she lives in Rock Hill, SC and works as a theater actress, director, and acting teacher. Saluda and Anna have perfect sister-sister relationships. They are very close and try to spend every free minute together.
