Troy Crosby spent his young years in Halifax, Nova Scotia (eastern part of Canada). He was a big fan of ice hockey and soon started to play it professionally. The man performed for Verdun Juniors and at the age of 18 was drafted by Montreal Canadiens. Unfortunately, Troy could not get into the primary team and didn’t play in NHL, but he gave his love to hockey to his son.

Sidney Crosby started to play hockey at the age of 2 under supervision of his father. A year later the boy could skate perfectly. Troy Crosby managed his son’s career. At the age of 14 he took his son to CBC show. The child prodigy was noticed and at the age of 17 he was included to National Junior Team (Canada).

Sidney, who is ranked as one of the best hockey players of all times as for now, tells that the major part of his success he devotes to his father. “He is a very competitive person. He taught me to win”, the NHL star says.
