Bio

The singer’s mother is Jackie C. Smith. She changed her surname for “Harris” after marriage. Like her husband, she was a military person. She served at the Air Force. Now she works as a principal director at Checkers Drive-in Restaurants.

Jackie has the only one child – the famous R&B singer Ciara. They always have been very close, but after giving birth to her son and daughter, the star understood, what it was like to go a mile in her mother’s shoes. That’s why she decided to name her sixth album “Jackie”. “I feel like mini-version of my mother”, she opened up in one of her interviews.
