Cristin Milioti was raised in Cherry Hill, New Jersey in a very creative family. She took piano lessons since childhood and discovered her acting talent while being at Long Lake Camp for the Arts.

She started acting in school plays and then entered New York University to study drama there. But she dropped it out after a year to start her career as a professional actress faster.
