In February 2021 Elsa became a mother of a sweet baby girl. She gave her daughter an unusual first name – Tuulikki, a famous Finnish female name. Thus, she wanted to honor her mother’s Finnish roots. Her second name – Joan – the baby got from her father’s American grandmother.

By the way, Elsa decided to give birth to her daughter at home. She had natural childbirth at home, without anesthesia, and in water. “I always felt calm and safe in the water”, the young mother said.

Ms. Hosk was born in Bromma (the suburb of Stockholm), Sweden, and grew up in a family of five. She studied at Enskilda Gymnasiet and joined getting her education with sports activities. She played basketball and was very good at it. She was just 12 when she became one of the most popular teen basketball players in Stockholm. She dreamed to become a professional athlete, but suddenly changed the focus of her attention to modeling. That happened due to her father, who noticed the daughter’s model-like beauty and sent her pictures to two famous model agencies. Elsa chose MIKAs, one of the most famous agencies in Scandinavia, and with the help and support of her parents, she signed the deal with them.

Elsa joined modeling with studying at school. She worked in her home country and abroad – the girl collaborated with the Japanese model agency “Donnas” and others.

She opened the new page in her career after she had moved to New York and was signed by the well-known IMG Models (Gisele Bündchen was represented by this agency, too).
