Her father’s name is Amjad Hasnie. He was born and raised in Lahore, Pakistan. Amjad is a middle child in his parents’ family. He grew up with 10 siblings. He was involved in an oil business, and his lifestyle was wealthy enough. Still, he left Pakistan and started everything from scratch in the USA. Her brother’s name is Omar Hasnie. In one of her Instagram posts Aishah joked, that she stole Omar’s birthday as they were born on the same day. Nowadays Omar resides in Fort Wayne, IN. He is married to a PR specialist Maria Omar. They have a son Isa together.

Dr. Omar Hasnie earns his living as an emergency medicine physician.

Afiah Hasnie (younger sister)

Aishah doesn’t have any kids, but she confessed in her interview that she has a motherhood experience due to her younger sister Afiah. Till now, the sisters remain very close despite the fact they live in different states.

Currently, Afiah Hasnie Sajid is an Ohio resident. She works as a clinical health psychologist at Cleveland Clinic. On August 15, 2014, Afiah tied the knot with Bilal Sahid, a dentist. Afiah considers Bilal as her brother.

Aishah Hasnie was born in Lahore, Pakistan, but at the age of 6, her parents moved her to Bedford, Indiana. She studied at Bedford North Lawrence High School. After that, she joined her peers at Indiana University.

It’s interesting to know, that Aishah found her calling not immediately. At first, she studied Biology, but after a few classes Hasnie understood, that was not her cup of tea. She wrote for a college paper and soon felt that it was her vocation.

Ms. Hasnie changed her writing for the role of a TV reporter after graduation. She visited her cousin, a famous correspondent Maira Ansari in Springfield, Illinois. Aishah watched Maira working at WICS-TV and immediately felt that she had to give it a try.

Having started by her cousin’s side, soon Aishah found her voice. She was hired as an intern for GEO-TV in Pakistan. Hasnie went to her parents’ country to develop a free press there, which was not an easy task. Later Aishah returned to the USA.
