Patrick is happily married to his long-term girlfriend Elisa Beth Yao, who is 36 as for now. Their love story is not publicized, but Elisa shared through Twitter, that she fell in love with Patrick immediately after he started singing.

Patrick tells, that he was quite a pampered kid, and his childhood was rather happy until the moment of his parents’ divorce. After that, he resided with his mother in Glenview, IL and missed his dad so much.
Patricia earned her living as an accountant. She joined her work with taking care of three kids. As the ex-wife of a musician, she knew, that her son’s passion for music was real, and she supported him in it. But when her son missed a semester in college to pay with just-made “Fall Out Boy”, she asked him to find a regular job. Instead of it, on the 6th of May in 2003, he released his first song.

During the years of service, he met Rich Raitano, with whom they founded the folk band “Uncle Barnaby”. After that music was the most, but not the only, important thing in his life. He studied healthcare administration at DePaul University. Then David got married and fathered three kids, one of which is our hero – Patrick. David made a successful career of a business administrator, and he joined it with writing songs and making music. As Uncle Barnaby member, he gained popularity throughout Chicago.

Patrick Martin Stumph is an American famous singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. He gained international popularity as a frontman and a guitar player of the band Fall Out Boy. He spent his early years in Evanston, Illinois.
Mr. Stump grew up in the family of a singer (father) and an accountant (mother). He has a brother and a sister. Patrick passed through his first serious personal crisis at the age of 8. At that time his parents separated, which left the boy in frustration. To cope with it, he listened to music and later he began to make music himself. He got inspiration from such famous musicians as Michael Jackson, Tom Waits and Elvis Costello.
He attended Glenbrook South High School. After graduation, he decided to focus his efforts on music. He joined the band “Fall Out Boy”, and soon became one of its leading singers. In 2003 the band released a mini-album “Evening out with your Girlfriend”, which was recorded within several days and cost almost nothing to its creators.
On May 6, 2003, the band released the debut album “Take this to your Grave”, which immediately became popular. After that Patrick and his colleagues signed the deal with Island Records and continued their way on top.
In 2011 Patrick made a pause in his activity of Fall Out Boy frontman and channeled his energy on creating a solo project. He released the first full-length solo album “Soul Punk”, which got mostly positive reviews from critics. In 2013 he returned to “Fall Out Boy”, and in 2018 they presented the seventh set of songs “Mania”. It occupied the peak position at Billboard Hot 200.

- Patrick decided to make a pause in his activity of Fall Out Boy member after the release of the album “Folie A Deux”. It was a box office flop, and after that fans literally threw rotten vegetables in the musicians during their tour. So, they decided to stop for a while, but several years later Fall Out Boy members again shook their hands.
- Patrick Stump tried his hand in acting, too. He appeared in several screen projects, among which there are popular TV series “Law & Order” and “One Tree Hill” (cameo).
- He hates, when people call him “Pat”, as his mother Patricia was named at home in such a way.
- Michael Jackson song “Thriller” is one of his most favorite music numbers, and Michael Jackson is one of the performers, who influenced him. He is also a fan of Prince and David Bowie.
